The goals meet the needs of the students developmentally because the goals are state standards set for their age and grade level. Using the computer to create the character map and story web give the students an easy way to edit their work with spell check and practice using the computer.
The goals meet the needs of the students developmentally becuase the goals align with the expectations for that grade level. Students were at the level where they could follow along with the story as we read it or read it independently. They also were able to work at their own pace and ask for help if needed.
The goals meet the needs of the students deevlopmantally because they are state standards which are set for their appropriate age and grade level. The students were able to both follow along with class discussions/readings, while also gaining the opportunity to work independently and at their own pace.
