They used a character map and story web to show their understanding of the story. Lastly, they had a discussion in VISTA about their pepeves and responsed to their classmates.
We wanted to use kidspiration to create graphic organizers that would illustrate the different story elements. We decided to look over the kidspiration program before we presented our lesson to the class. This ensured that we could manage the technology resources with ease. We wanted the students to create character and story webs on kidspiration and post responses on a VISTA discussion board.
