The goals reflect several types of learning because the goals are completable by each student and each student has the resources to complete the goals. Also, the computer allows students to add as little or much writing as they would like to each map. The students are not limited to one small bubble on a piece of paper. The goals are challenging because the student has to use the computer and may not be familiar with the program. If the student needs help the teacher is right there to help the student with the steps and show them where the program is and how it works.
The goals were realistic for all levels of learning. The maps could be as simple or difficult as the student decided to make them. Also, the goals might be challenging because the students were using a new form of technology. They could work independently or with the assistance of the teachers.
The goals were attainable for students of all different types of learning because they had the option of making their work as in- depth or simple as they chose. However, the activities may still have presented some challenge because we were using a new form of technology which everyone may not have been familiar with. In order to smooth over any questions or misunderstandings we made ourselves available throughout the lesson for questions.
