Assessment is analyzed by taking the students character map and story web and grading it according to the rubric. The discussion is for partipaction and reflection.
We analyzed the assessment by looking over the student's self assessment rubrics and comparing those with their activities (Story Web, Character Web, and Vista Discussion) If their self assessment reflected the grade that we thought they deserved, then we kept it the same. We only chaged it if there were extreme deficiencies.
We analyzed the assessment by comparing the students work to the grades they gave themselves on the rubrics. If we felt that the students were too easy (or hard) on themselves then we may have altered their grades slightly, but otherwise we seemed to have kept the grades they gave themselves.
