This lesson was beneficial to me because I have not created a lesson based on technology. I think it is important to use computers as much as possible because paper is going away. Students will be using the computer no matter what kind of job they get in the future. I also think the computer is more engaging then just paper because there is a lot more freedom for the students to be creative and expand on their ideas.

I really enjoyed incorporating technology into a lesson. It allows for so many different learning possibilities. In the future, I would have liked to use more interactive resources such as movie maker or audacity. I felt that we did not have enough time to do something like that with our lesson. I definitely want to use technology in my own classroom when I begin teaching. Children these days are growing up their whole lives with computers, so there are so many things that you will be able to do with them.

I thought that using technology in the lesson was a new experience for me which I learned could be very helpful in the future. I am not very comfortable myself with many programs on computers but being able to experience teaching with technology seemed to be more interesting for everyone involved. I think that if I slowly incorporate technology based lessons into my curriculum I will become more comfortable with different programs myself and my students will also benefit from the experiences.
